Taylor-Made Deep Creek Vacations Website Design

Taylor-Made Deep Creek Vacations was a start-up rental property management business when I began working on their site as a freelance job in February 2008. I designed comps for all the primary and secondary pages, then built out the entire site. The company grew very quickly, and I maintained the site for them until November 2008. At that time, they were ready to turn their site over to Visual Data Systems — the company I worked for during one of my college internships — for further development and future maintenance. Visual Data Systems added back-end programming and search functions to my original website design.

Motorola EM1000R Key Features Video

I was first brought onto the Motorola account to work on quality control and improve efficiency of communications between the client and designers.

For this project, Motorola needed a small web video to highlight some of the key features of their EM1000R radios for use on sales sites like Amazon.com. It was important to show consumers where to find the buttons for these key features and include audio for weather and alerts. I created a detailed storyboard for the video including directions on how each element should move in and out of the frame, then I directed our intern at Finished Art, Inc. as he put together the final animated piece.

Coca-Cola Live Positively Video

Finished Art was moving in the direction of adding video and motion graphics to their list of services, so they needed to create a motion reel to present to potential clients. They wanted all different styles of videos to present, and I was partnered with another designer in the office to create a video with a clean, sophisticated, yet fun feel. Since we would be presenting the motion reel to many of our current clients at Coke, we wanted to show them what we could do with elements in the Coke Visual Identity system. We worked together to create a storyboard with transitions between the different Coca-Cola live positively icons, then I animated the elements in Flash. The final video was HD quality, sized to fit a widescreen TV.
